  • Jun 2018 till now, Head of e-learning and Open Educational Resource Department, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Amman, Jordan (http://mohe.gov.jo).

  • Sep 2009 till Jun 2018, System Administrator and Data Analyst, Computerized Exams Department, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan(http://www.yu.edu.jo).
    The Computerized Online Exam Department was established at Yarmouk University on August 2007, I was nominated to follow up administration this department work, my duties can be summarized as follow:

    • Managing and holding all computerized exams held at Yarmouk University using Questionmark and Moodle products.

    • Member of the administration and implementation of the English equivalent exam committee for the postgraduate students.

    • In addition to university computerized exams, I managed computerized exams of Change Agent for Arab Development and Education Reform (CADER) Company held in different regions in Jordan (http://www.cader.jo).

    • Processing of statistical reports by analyzing, managing and tracking databases and re-configuring data to conform with the used systems.

    • Managing the department’s technical work procedures including department’s peripherals, hosts, servers, firewall, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS).

    • Making backup copies of department’s files and databases.

    • Overseeing security of all systems and data.

    • Following up and updating department’s website.

    • Planning for developing training programs for the staff members and users.

Smart Business Solutions provides and supports network and maintenance services, I was chosen to fill Networks and Maintenance Technician position and to do the following duties:

  • Determine network usage, disk space availability, and server functions.

  • Configure security setting and access permission for users.

  • Configure LAN and WAN routers and related equipment.

  • Document network support activity.

  • Configure and define parameters for installation and testing networks equipment.

  • Evaluate networks performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems or for recovery purpose.

    I provide a Technical Support of network based products and computer maintenance, I was responsible for:

    • Surveying company’s networks and devices to document possible problems and create recommendation letters about advisable proper solutions.

    • Configure LAN and WAN routers and related equipment.

    • Installing software and hardware, configure security setting, setting up user’s accounts, passwords, and permission.

    • Making arranged periodic visit to evaluate network and devices performance.

    • Fixing any new network and device faults.

    • Provide troubleshooting and technical support on demand via phone, remote control access, web based tools, email, and onsite.
